The inscription of the printed circuit, called serigraphy or silkscreen for short, is done on the top layer of the PCB and has the role of a reference indicator for the components on the PCB. Graphics and text on a circuit board's PCB are usually printed with a non-conductive permanent epoxy ink. The color is usually white, although other colors are available: yellow, black, blue, red.
Screen printing is used to render useful information on the PCB board that can help users during assembly. It is used to mark component values, part numbers, test points, polarity, etc.
Screen printing does not influence the printed circuit and the possible problems that may appear may be slight discolorations due to the high temperatures for gluing the components, so they are only PCB design problems.
